Skyrim sweet rolls! YUM

1 cup (250mL) butter, room temperature
3/4 cup (75mL) brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup (60mL) maple syrup
1/4 cup (60mL) milk
1 tsp (10mL) cinnamon or to taste
2 cups (500mL) flour

Preheat oven to 375F
1. Using a stand mixed, with a paddle attachment beat butter with sugar until fluffy for a couple of minutes. If not using a stand mixer, beat with a whisk.
2. Add one egg at a time to the butter mixture and mix until incorporated.
3. Add maple syrup, milk and cinnamon.
4. Add all the flour and stir to combine. Do not over mix.
5. Fill parchment-lined muffin pan with batter. Flatten surface to get an even bottom. Place into preheated oven and bake for about 20-30min or until golden brown.
6. When rolls are ready, remove from muffin pan, flip and cut out a small hole in the centre - just like in SKYRIM. While the roll is warm, carefully pour icing on top and ENJOY!

Frosting:
2 cups icing sugar
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp milk

1. Combine all ingredients in a stand mixer or a bowl and whip until the frosting is smooth.

@Imeera Very True, with all the mead and honey treats and stuff. And yet again there is long strands of candy taffy in Skyrim... IDK It might make it taste a bit wierd, or too sweet depending on how much you put in. Also, they probably would have maple trees and you can always find those tap things. So yeah they could have maple syrup. Well, of course maple syrup without all the High Fructose Corn Syrup S***t in it :/ As for cinnamon... I don't know about that. Probably not. And yet what are the spices in the Spiced Wine in Solitude? I guess we just gotta accept her recipe or make our own. Not that much of the naturaly good with cooking and make awesome recipes person so I'll probably be useing this. Also, you're right they are too small, but not enough I don't think for a whole cake tin with hole, more like a extra deep extra wide cupcake thing.

There is lots wrong with this recipe in my opinion. For example maple syrup? Why not use honey? Surly that would make more sense as I don't think there would be maple syrup in Skyrim xD Also the shape is wrong, you need a large cake tin with a hole in it. You can get them. Cinnamon I suppose is fine but again not very "Skyrimish" and I don't think they had cinnimon in the Nordic countries that Skyrim is fashioned after. Though I may be wrong, if someone knows tell me! Also I was expecting more, like using cinnamon and calling it "nirn root" or whatever. Not to say she didn't do a great job and they look yummy, I bet they taste great. I suppose the only thing that really bothered me is WHY NOT HONEY!? Its a massive thing in Skyrim, its a bit annoying she didn't use it!
