Modding is a tricky business, make no mistake.  Sometimes, you think you have all the lines in your script worked out, only to find the whole thing is broken because of poor syntax.  Or you hook up all the placers in your bookshelf to find it…Continue

Hello everyone, first of all I think this group is a great idea. I love mods! I love making mods, getting mods and I have a strange fetish with mod reviews, even for mods I know I won't get on sheer ridiculousness (eg. Macho Man Alduin). Right, mod…Continue

Soo.. I'm watching a very well done playthrough of Skyrim that is completely RP based and the guy is using this resurrection spell from a mod that allows him to reanimate things as powerful as named master vampires that continue being reanimated until they die. But.. They dont turn to ash upon death and can be reanimated over and over again. Plus the spell cost little magika. Is this spell Extremely Broken or am I losing my mind??

There are many people doing mod spotlights on YouTube, Gopher and Brodual among the most popular ones. We have made something alike, in Mod Reviews but they didn't get attention

Not really quite sure where to post this, but have you considered a mod spotlight for the various mods of skyrim, like the hidden gem spotlight, roleplaying spotlight, etc.

Tyler, there is a thread here - Need Help? Ask a Modder! where you should post your question  As for your question, seeing as what you seek is possible via simple console command (Source) you might need just to alter faction of the NPC via script.

I think you need to slow down and start simple with modding. Learn how the CL works first
Comment by Wulf BearClaw on May 28, 2014 at 4:00pm

That's the problem. Like I said I have attempted to make several simple mods before. The first one was supposed to add a miraak follower to riverwood but no matter what I did he would not be in my game. The second was supposed to make Uthgerd slightly younger but that also failed to work.

Lol, as good a reason as any, I suppose.

Comment by Tae-Rai on May 28, 2014 at 3:55pm
Start by reading through tutorials online. To do that you will need to know how to script.

free food???

Comment by Borommakot on May 28, 2014 at 3:49pm

Not that that's necessarily a bad idea, but why would a 300 year old want to be adopted?
