I started with few of my own again. What I really like on Alchemy in Oblivion is that you can create so much "spell" effects that you can have character with some cool potions that takes away the need of magic. And yet, I never fully delved into Alchemy before, just now with my Thief character and I can´t believe how could I not use it before?

Elixir of Riposte is really cool potion for every character that know he/she will get hit. Even pure thief who doesn´t have the opportunity to deal lots of damage on his own can count on this Potion to make his attacker suffer.

Iron Skin potion gives some cool survivalibity to characters like thieves or those without armor and magic like Acrobats.

Mageslayer poison is really nasty stuff. That thing can pretty much deal with anything, not just mages.

Thanks Chris. I'll edit that in.

Thanks for the link, Chris. I was considering adding it but what posponed my final decision is fact that some of the potions there are nonsense. I tested them and some can´t be made.

I'll put a warning in. When I get more time I might test them and just transfer over to this page the ones that work.

I just remember that I run into few which weren´t working. It is some time, so if they have updated, I do not know.

It would be amazing if you could test them. Transfering them here sounds like a good idea too.

Also note, that Alchemy in Oblivion is really dependant on your skill. Novice-Expert gives you more effects on ingredients. On novice you start with one effect and expert unlocks up to four effects. So most of the potions listed here or on UESP are skill dependant.

This might have been the reason some of those potions didn´t work for me long time ago. I feel so dumb right now...

So I´ve added few useful potions and poisons I´m using on my build now. The numbers that are in () are Alchemy Skill requirements.

Restore Health (25) – Aloe Vera Leaves + Lady´s Mantle Leaves

Restore Magicka (25) – Flax Seeds + Bog Beacon Asco Cap

Restore Magica + Shield (50) – Flax Seeds + Bog Beacon Asco Cap

Invisibility (25) – Tinder Polypore Cap + Wormwood Leaves

Fire Shield + Fire Shield + Shield + Restore Fatigue (75) – Cheese Wedge + Potato + Dragon´s Tongue + Bog Beacon Asco Cap

Damage Health (25) – Dragon´s Tongue + Nightshade

Damage Health + Damage Magicka + Fire Damage (50) – Nightshade + Steel-Blue Entoloma Cap + Bergamot Seeds + Wheat Grain

Few more poisons. Build is nearly complete.

Damage Strength + Damage Endurance (75) – Tiger Lily Nectar + Somnalius Frond + Clouded Funnel Cap + Primrose Leaves

Damage Fatigue (25) – Motherwort Sprig + Water Hyacinth Nectar

Damage Intelligence + Damage Magicka (50) – Monkshood Root Pulp + Cairn Bolete Cap + Wheat Grain + Bergamot Seeds

Hey Karver, here is some recipes I can give you;

Harrada + Rat Meat/Daedra Heart + Daedra Venin/Clannfer Claws
(Damage Magicka + Silence + Damage Health * Paralyse)

Flax Seeds + Vod Salts + Ectoplasm
(Fortify Magicka + Restore Magicka)

Note, I didn't think of any names for the poisons and potions that and the first one is, powerful to say the least. Got some more but will post them in the Pblivion Class builds I'm making once Vault moves to new site.
