This is your humble Archcanon speaking.
The Elder Scrolls Classics is introducing a new function for the group: Character Build Events. This will work similarly to the CB group's events, but will, notably, be based around older games.
Our events will be open to players of any classic Elder Scrolls game; there will be no set limitations unless otherwise noted.
This event, as you may have guessed, is going to be based around the gods of the Aurbis. Interpret this as you may; you could be a divine servant, a demigod of some sort, or even a Daedric Prince. However, please use existing gods as the base; this has to be within the bounds of lore.
Here is a page of gods in the Elder Scrolls Universe (press a letter next to "Overview" for an alphabetical list): http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Gods
Comment below of PM me if you want to join. Also include the name of the build that you want to make. All builds must be posted during the weekend of Saturday, November 7th, and must be prefaced by "Event Build:". You must include the correct tags.

Oh sorry, I got confused. I keep getting the Character Building Events and the old themed contests mixed up. Sorry.
Shame, I got Oblivion and was hoping to find some builds. Seems like no one plays oblivion.
Mm, I would make a build but, I don't really know how, Sorta new here. :/
Here's a link to the archives that contain all the Oblivion Builds by the way.
Heh, I'd offer to help you out but sadly I'm not really that into Oblivion anymore, and I've never made a build for it (Skyrim, sure). I could help with some general build tips but if you wanted to get some more in-depth advice, I'd consider talking to Karver, he's pretty damn good with Oblivion Building (in fact he was the last Host for the group), I don't know how much time he has but he'd be able to help better than I can.
For me, most of the tips over in the Skyrim CB Group are kind of universal, so I'd check them out for a bunch of useful information for beginning builders. Finally if you do decide to post a build later on, then I'd recommend using the Workshop.
So yeah, just a bit of a way to help set you up, sorry I can't do more to help (well much more, I can go over anything you have). But hey, if you've just gotten Oblivion all I can say is have fun with it.
